Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 large onion, chopped fine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar chili sauce
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mix ground chuck, eggs, onion, salt, and pepper; shape into small balls.
  2. Drop raw balls into sauce made from chili sauce, grape jelly, and lemon juice. Gently simmer for about 20 minutes until done.
  3. These meatballs may be frozen and reheated for later use.
  4. Serve in a chafing dish for party appetizers.
