Ingredients

  • 6 large sweet potatoes
  • 1 can Carnation milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 package marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Put yams in 4 quarts of water and boil until done.
  2. Peel the yams after they have cooled.
  3. Mash the sweet potatoes thoroughly.
  4. Add the can of Carnation milk, margarine, cinnamon, and brown sugar to the mashed yams and mix well.
  5. Spread the mixture in a Pyrex dish.
  6. Place marshmallows on top of the sweet potato mixture.
  7. Bake in a 325°F oven until the marshmallows are browned on top.
