Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked, sweet potatoes, mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sweet milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix together mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, 1/2 stick oleo, vanilla, and sweet milk; pour into a buttered casserole dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, and nuts.
  4. Pour 1/2 stick melted oleo over the dry mixture and mix until crumbly.
  5. Spread the crumbly mixture evenly over the potato mixture.
  6. Bake until the topping is light brown, about 30 minutes.
