Instructions
- Cream shortening.
- Gradually add sugar and cream.
- Add eggs and beat well.
- Add sweet potatoes and mix well.
- Sift together all dry ingredients.
- Add to cream mixture alternately with milk. Add nuts and mix well.
- Bake in 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Can be served plain or with a cream cheese icing.
