Ingredients

  • 2 packages whole frozen corn
  • 1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 c. soft bread cubes
  • 4 Tbsp. butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Cook the frozen corn until tender and drain.
  2. Mix the cooked corn with evaporated milk, beaten egg, chopped onion, salt, pepper, sugar, and 1 cup of shredded Swiss cheese.
  3. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
  4. Combine bread cubes, melted butter, and 1/4 cup of shredded Swiss cheese, then sprinkle evenly over the top of the casserole.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
