Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut into serving-size pieces
  • 2 or 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • flour
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 medium onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  2. Dredge the steak in flour seasoned with salt and pepper.
  3. Brown the meat on both sides.
  4. Add sliced onions and green pepper strips to the pan.
  5. Pour tomato sauce over all ingredients.
  6. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for approximately 1 hour, or until the meat is tender and vegetables are cooked.
