Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. taco chips
  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1 cup cheese, grated
  • 1 can tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Cook hamburger until light brown, stirring frequently.
  2. Add chopped onions and green pepper; cook until tender.
  3. Add cream of chicken soup, water, and canned tomatoes; season with salt to taste.
  4. Cook until bubbly.
  5. In a large casserole dish, layer taco chips, then the hamburger mixture. Repeat layers as needed.
  6. Top with grated cheese.
  7. Bake in a 350°F oven until cheese is melted.
