Ingredients

  • 2 cups tortilla chips, crushed
  • 1 1/2 lb ground chuck
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup stuffed green olives
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • taco sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground chuck in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning mix, water, and stuffed green olives to the meat. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Separate the refrigerated crescent rolls and press them into an ungreased 9 x 10-inch pie plate to form the crust.
  4. Sprinkle 1 cup of crushed tortilla chips over the bottom crust.
  5. Spoon the meat mixture over the chips.
  6. Spread sour cream evenly over the meat.
  7. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Add remaining crushed chips over the cheese.
  9. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 to 20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  10. Slice and serve topped with shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, and taco sauce as desired.
