Taco Dish

A flavorful layered taco dish featuring beans, fresh vegetables, cheese, and toppings, perfect as an appetizer or satisfying meal for gatherings or family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 to 2 avocados, peeled and mashed
  • 1/2 jar mild taco sauce
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1 bunch green onions, diced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • handful shredded lettuce
  • grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Layer the refried beans in a rectangular pan.
  2. Spread the mashed avocados over the beans.
  3. Pour the mild taco sauce on top.
  4. Mix the sour cream with the taco seasoning and spread over the previous layers.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Before serving, layer diced green onions, then diced tomatoes, then shredded lettuce and grated Cheddar cheese.
  7. Sprinkle diced black olives over the top.
  8. Chill until ready to serve.
  9. Serve with a bag of plain nacho chips.
