Ingredients

  • 1 large can refried beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • lettuce
  • 3 or 4 tomatoes
  • 1 large package shredded cheese
  • 1 cup diced green onions
  • 1 cup sliced black olives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Spread refried beans on a 12-inch round platter; cover with sour cream.
  2. Brown ground beef and drain; then stir in taco seasoning.
  3. While the beef is cooling, chop the lettuce and drain very well.
  4. Dice tomatoes and green onions.
  5. Spoon the seasoned meat on top of the sour cream layer.
  6. Cover the meat with chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and green onions.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese and sliced black olives on top.
  8. Serve with large tortilla chips.
