Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon soda
  • 1 1/2 cups quick rolled oats
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix together sugar, oil, eggs, and evaporated milk in a large mixer bowl. Beat until well blended.
  2. Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon, and soda. Gradually add to the liquid mixture. Beat until smooth.
  3. Stir in oats, butterscotch chips, raisins, and chopped nuts.
  4. Spread the mixture into a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
  6. Let cool. Spread icing over the top. Cut into 24 squares.
