- Cream together the sugar and Crisco.
- Add eggs to the mixture and beat well.
- Combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, Tang, sugar) and mix into the wet mixture.
- Press three-fourths of the dough into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, mix crushed pineapple, Tang, sugar, cornstarch, and nuts.
- Cook the mixture until it thickens.
- Spread the pineapple filling evenly over the pressed dough in the pan.
- Drop the remaining dough in spots over the filling.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 27 minutes until golden.
