Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pecans
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg with one teaspoon of water.
  2. Mix pecans to coat with the egg and water mixture.
  3. Combine brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Add the coated pecans to the sugar mixture.
  5. Stir thoroughly to evenly coat.
  6. Spread the coated pecans on a large cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 250°F for 60 minutes, stirring once during baking.
