Ingredients

  • 1 c. sliced onions
  • 1 c. tomato catsup
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 5 to 6 lb. spareribs

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together to make a marinade.
  2. Add marinade to a large Dutch oven with 5 to 6 pounds of spareribs.
  3. Simmer on the stove approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally to ensure all ribs are covered.
  4. Place the cooked ribs on a hot barbecue grill to sear.
  5. Serve and enjoy. Pass around the cooked marinade and use as barbecue sauce.
