A hearty Texan casserole combining seasoned ground beef, beans, tomatoes, and cheese, topped with crunchy Fritos for a delicious and satisfying comfort food experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (17 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 2 Tbsp. onion
  • Fritos corn chips
  • Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger; drain excess fat.
  2. Mix all ingredients except Fritos and cheese.
  3. Pour half of the mixture into a casserole dish.
  4. Top with 1 cup crushed Fritos and 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese.
  5. Repeat layers.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.
