Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 small jar picante sauce
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Brown the pork sausage and ground beef, then drain the excess fat.
  2. Melt the Velveeta cheese in a microwave-proof dish.
  3. Combine all ingredients including meats, cheese, picante sauce, cream of chicken and celery soups, and Ro-Tel tomatoes (if using) in a crock-pot.
  4. Mix everything well in the crock-pot.
  5. Keep the crock-pot on low, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until warmed through.
  6. Serve with lightly salted tortilla chips.
