Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. oil
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. cold coffee or water or half and half
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. On top of the stove mix the ingredients.
  2. Heat thoroughly and stir well.
  3. Pour over cake and spread, then sprinkle with about 1 cup chopped pecans.
