Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp. Dijon style mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp. white wine
  • 1 c. pitted black olives, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c. sunflower seeds

Instructions

  1. Beat cream cheese with mustard, garlic powder, and wine until smooth.
  2. Mix in chopped black olives and grated Cheddar cheese.
  3. Form the mixture into a ball shape. Wrap in wax paper.
  4. Chill the cheese ball until firm.
  5. Roll the chilled ball in sunflower seeds to coat.
  6. Garnish with additional whole pitted ripe olives before serving.
