Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg yolk
  • raspberry or strawberry preserves

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Add sugar and egg yolk to the creamed butter and mix well.
  3. Sift together the salt and flour, then gradually add to the mixture.
