Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 medium can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 pkg. frozen coconut

Instructions

  1. Make a 2-layer cake and split each layer in half with thread.
  2. Turn the cake over so it can soak in the mixture.
  3. Mix sour cream and 2 cups sugar together.
  4. Set aside 1 cup of the sour cream mixture.
  5. Add coconut and drained crushed pineapple to the remaining mixture.
  6. Spread the coconut and pineapple mixture between each cake layer.
