Ingredients

  • 4 oz. candied cherries, chopped
  • 4 oz. candied pineapple slices, chopped
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 1/4 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 c. sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. orange extract
  • 4 c. leftover cake, diced
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Instructions

  1. Birthday cakes may be great at the party, but tend to lose their freshness the day after.
  2. Freeze what's left and use it to make a completely different cake!
