Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 loaf French bread

Instructions

  1. Mix garlic, Mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese into the butter.
  2. Cut the French bread into 6 (1-inch) slices.
  3. Butter each slice of bread with the prepared garlic butter mixture.
  4. Place the slices under the broiler and toast until golden brown on each side.
  5. Before removing from the broiler, sprinkle the slices with the Mozzarella mixture.
  6. Allow the cheese to melt, then serve the garlic bread hot.
