Ingredients

  • 16 oz. canned diced peeled tomatoes
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dill weed
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika or ground red pepper
  • freshly ground pepper to taste
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Drain off some of the juice from the canned diced tomatoes.
  2. Mix the tomatoes, sliced green onions, minced garlic, olive oil, minced parsley, dill weed, paprika or red pepper, freshly ground pepper, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Marinate at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Cook the spaghetti or linguine until al dente and drain.
  5. Add the hot cooked pasta to the tomato mixture and toss well.
  6. Serve immediately.
