Ingredients

  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 3 slices toasted bread
  • 1/2 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Halve the tomatoes and place them on a cookie sheet.
  2. Crumb the toasted bread slices.
  3. Mix the minced garlic, chopped green onions, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture over the bread crumbs.
  5. Pile the mixture on top of the tomatoes.
  6. Broil for 5 to 7 minutes until golden.
