Ingredients

  • 2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 c. stemmed, seeded and chopped fresh hot peppers
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. white vinegar
  • 1/4 c. water

Instructions

  1. Mix the finely chopped onion and chopped hot peppers together in a large mixing bowl, then spoon into jars and add salt.
  2. In a small saucepan, mix the vinegar and water and heat. Do not boil.
  3. When the liquid is hot, pour it into the jars, making sure the onions and peppers are covered.
  4. Seal the jars and let sit for about a week before using.
  5. Enjoy the hot, spicy flavor!
