This cake can also be made using vegan recipes by substituting eggs and dairy with appropriate plant-based alternatives.

This delicious cake is best served warm, topped with a generous spoonful of whipped topping or ice cream. It pairs beautifully with a cup of Peppermint Hot Cocoa for a delightful dessert experience. Consider serving it alongside fresh fruit or a light salad like La~Rues Apple Congealed Salad for a balanced meal.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftover Topside-Down Cake in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, refrigerate for up to a week. To reheat, place a slice in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds or until warm, being careful not to overheat, which can dry out the cake.
