Ingredients

  • 2 c. Rice Krispies, slightly crushed
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and mix together Rice Krispies, chopped nuts, coconut, and brown sugar.
  2. Bake the mixture until lightly browned, then stir in melted butter.
  3. Press half of the toasted mixture into a 9 x 9-inch square pan.
  4. Spoon softened vanilla ice cream evenly over the crumb layer.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining crumbs on top of the ice cream.
  6. Freeze until firm, then serve.
