Ingredients

  • 6 oz. chocolate ready crust pie shell
  • 2 sq. semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 1/4 c. Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 c. cold milk
  • 2 pkg. chocolate flavored instant pudding

Instructions

  1. Pour melted semi-sweet baking chocolate and sweetened condensed milk into a bowl; stir until smooth and pour into the prepared crust.
  2. Press toasted chopped pecans evenly onto the chocolate layer in the crust and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, pour cold milk and add the chocolate flavored instant pudding mixes.
  4. Beat with a wire whisk for 2 minutes or until the mixture is smooth and thick.
  5. Spread 1 1/2 cups of the pudding over the nut and chocolate layer in the crust.
  6. Immediately stir half of the whipped topping into the remaining pudding.
  7. Spread the pudding mixture over the previous layer in the crust.
  8. Top with the remaining whipped topping.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until set before serving.
