Truffle Cookies

Decadent truffle cookies with rich milk and sweet chocolates infused with almond liqueur, perfect for chocolate lovers and elegant gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. whipping cream
  • 4 oz. milk chocolate
  • 4 oz. sweet chocolate
  • 1 tsp. Amaretto or almond extract
  • 2 Tbsp. powdered cocoa
  • dash of salt

Instructions

  1. Cover your working surface with waxed paper.
  2. Using a hand grater, grate all the solid chocolates into a bowl.
  3. Line a baking sheet with heavy aluminum foil and grease well.
  4. In a heavy saucepan, heat the whipping cream until it begins to boil.
  5. Remove from heat and add the milk chocolate and sweet chocolate.
  6. Cover and let stand about 6 minutes.
  7. Mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon until the chocolate is completely melted.
  8. Add Amaretto or almond extract and salt, then pour the mixture onto the prepared foil.
  9. Refrigerate until cool and the mixture starts to firm, about 30 minutes.
