A savory layered casserole combining tuna, Fritos, creamy mushroom soup, and melted cheese, perfect for a comforting, quick-to-make meal that appeals to comfort food lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 can tuna
  • 2 1/2 cups Fritos
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • several slices of cheese

Instructions

  1. Place a layer of Fritos in the bottom of a casserole dish.
  2. Add a layer of tuna on top of the Fritos.
  3. Repeat layering if desired.
  4. In a saucepan, heat the mushroom soup and milk until warm.
  5. Pour the mushroom soup mixture over the layered tuna and Fritos.
  6. Place cheese slices over the top.
  7. Bake in a 375°F (190°C) oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.
