Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. solid shortening
  • 5 Tbsp. cold milk

Instructions

  1. Use a large Tupperware mixing bowl and seal it.
  2. In the Tupperware bowl, mix the flour and salt.
  3. Seal the bowl and shake to combine.
  4. Add the solid shortening; seal and shake until the mixture reaches a cornmeal texture, approximately 2 minutes.
  5. Add cold milk; seal and shake for 30 to 45 seconds.
  6. Lightly flour the surface and chill the dough before rolling out.
