Vegetable Sandwich Roll
Ingredients
- 2 tsp. olive oil ⓘ
- 1 small onion, slivered ⓘ
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped ⓘ
- 1/4 c. water ⓘ
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and well drained ⓘ
- 1 c. reduced-fat Cheddar cheese, shredded ⓘ
- 1/2 c. toasted walnuts, finely chopped ⓘ
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese ⓘ
- 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed to room temperature ⓘ
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet.
- Add onion and garlic; cook 2 minutes or until tender.
- Stir in broccoli and water; cook, covered, 5 minutes.
- Uncover and cook 1 minute to evaporate liquid.
- Stir in Cheddar cheese, walnuts and Parmesan cheese.
- Let the mixture cool.
