Ingredients

  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 1/3 cup vinegar (tarragon, wine, or salad)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon MSG or Accent
  • 1 teaspoon Beau Monde seasoning
  • 1 bunch fresh broccoli
  • 1 (8 oz.) package fresh mushrooms
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Combine salad oil, vinegar, salt, MSG or Accent, and Beau Monde in a 2-quart bowl or casserole.
  2. Use this mixture as a basic vinaigrette for salad dressing.
  3. Prepare the vegetables: wash and cut the broccoli into florets, clean the mushrooms, and wash the cherry tomatoes.
  4. Toss the prepared vegetables with the vinaigrette before serving.
