Ingredients

  • 4 lb. bear meat
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • vegetable oil
  • 8 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 2 green peppers
  • 2 cans tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Cut the bear meat into bite-sized portions.
  2. Mix flour with salt, garlic powder, paprika, parsley flakes, and black pepper.
  3. Roll the meat in the seasoned flour.
  4. Brown the floured meat in vegetable oil.
  5. Add sliced carrots, onion, and green peppers; brown these vegetables.
  6. Add canned tomatoes to the pot.
  7. Simmer the mixture for 2 hours until the meat is tender.
  8. Serve over rice.
