Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lb. venison
  • 1/4 cup cognac
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 carrots, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups white wine

Instructions

  1. Brown the venison and drain off the liquid.
  2. Add all other ingredients to the pot.
  3. Cover and bake in the oven at 325°F for 3 hours.
  4. Stir well every 30 minutes during cooking.
  5. Serve over rice.
