Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. venison, cut in strips
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  2. Add the venison strips and cook until browned.
  3. Add the canned mushrooms and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom or chicken soup and sour cream.
  5. Cover and simmer for 30 to 60 minutes, until flavors meld and meat is tender.
  6. Serve hot over noodles.
