Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground sirloin
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 lb. Longhorn/Colby cheese
  • 1 can Italian stewed tomatoes
  • 16 oz. vermicelli noodles

Instructions

  1. Brown ground sirloin and chopped onions in a skillet.
  2. Cook vermicelli noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  3. Grate the Longhorn/Colby cheese and set aside.
  4. Drain the cooked meat mixture.
  5. Combine the cooked noodles with the drained meat and onions.
  6. Add the Italian stewed tomatoes to the mixture and stir well.
  7. Mix in the grated cheese until evenly distributed.
  8. Season to taste and serve.
