Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider using a combination of beef broth and vegetable broth. If you don't have Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce can be a decent substitute. Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers for added nutrition and color. For a thicker sauce, whisk in a little extra flour before adding the broth.

Serving Suggestions

This dish pairs beautifully with Praline Yams for a comforting meal. Serve it with crusty bread or over rice to soak up the delicious sauce. A side salad can add a refreshing contrast to the hearty flavors. Consider garnishing with fresh herbs for an extra pop of color and flavor.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, gently warm in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of broth if needed to maintain moisture. Alternatively, you can microwave it in short intervals, stirring occasionally until heated through.
