Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons milk
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 apples
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Grate the apples and stir in the baking soda.
  2. Combine the grated apples, sugar, oil, eggs, milk, salt, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  3. Add the flour and the remaining 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the mixture, mixing until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 5 x 8.5-inch bread pan.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
