Ingredients

  • 8 slices white bread, cubed
  • 3/4 c. grated cheese (1/2 Cheddar, 1/2 Swiss)
  • 1 lb. sausage or ham
  • 1 c. fresh mushrooms
  • 2 c. milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 Tbsp. mustard
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Brown sausage; drain. Grease 9 x 12-inch pan. Put bread cubes on bottom. Add meat. Pour other ingredients on top.
  2. Top with onions. Refrigerate overnight (very important).
  3. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Do not overbake.
