Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. sweet cream
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1/4 c. chopped candied cherries
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. chopped candied pineapple
  • 1 tsp. almond or rose flavoring
  • 1/4 c. chopped figs

Instructions

  1. Combine sweet cream, butter, and sugar in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook until reaching the soft ball stage.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
  4. Beat the mixture until creamy.
  5. Add chopped candied cherries, pineapple, coconut, and chopped figs.
  6. Mix in almond or rose flavoring.
  7. Pour into a well buttered, shallow pan.
  8. Allow to set, then cut into squares.
