Vienna Bread - Stuffed

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf unsliced Vienna bread
  • 1 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
  • 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, coarsely chopped
  • 3 green onions, sliced thin with the green stems
  • 2 Tbsp. poppy seed
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt

Instructions

  1. Score bread by slicing lengthwise to within 1/2-inch from the bottom in one-inch sections.
  2. Turn and do the same in other direction.
  3. Stuff bread with cheese and mushrooms.
  4. Sprinkle onions, poppy seed and seasoned salt over top.
