Ingredients

  • 1 quart ginger ale
  • 2 pounds brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Grey Poupon mustard
  • 1 can pineapple slices

Instructions

  1. Cook the ginger ale and 1 pound of brown sugar until syrupy.
  2. Add the Grey Poupon mustard and cook for a couple of minutes until tiny lumps form.
  3. Pour the glaze on a whole ham and place it in the oven to bake.
  4. About 1 hour before the ham is done, pour off the broth and add the juice of pineapple and additional brown sugar.
  5. Cook this mixture until it forms a thick syrup.
  6. Arrange pineapple slices on the ham.
  7. Apply the glaze and bake until the ham is fully cooked.
