Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pinto beans
  • 1 medium ham hock
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • a dash of celery salt
  • 2 dashes of Red Devil hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil.
  2. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 5 hours until the juice is thick.
  3. Serve hot, garnished as desired.
