Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sifted flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup margarine (soft)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Beat butter, sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in melted chocolate and vanilla.
  3. Blend in flour mixture and fold in chopped walnuts.
  4. Spread evenly in a prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes and cut into squares.
  7. Let cool completely in the pan before serving.
