- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a small bowl, combine raisins and water; set aside to soak.
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, chopped walnuts, sugar, and melted margarine or butter.
- Press this mixture firmly onto the bottom of a 9-inch spring-form pan or a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- In a large mixer bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy.
- Gradually beat in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Drain water from raisins and stir rum flavoring into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared crust.
- Evenly distribute the soaked raisins on top of the batter.
- Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until the cheesecake is set.
- Allow to cool completely.
- Top with Walnut Praline Glaze and chill.
- Refrigerate before serving.
