Walnut-Shrimp Salad

A vibrant, refreshing salad combining sweet oranges, crunchy walnuts, and tender shrimp, perfect for light lunches or elegant appetizer platters with a citrusy dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped, toasted and seasoned with garlic salt
  • 1 lb. shrimp, cooked and cleaned
  • 1 c. celery, sliced
  • 3 large oranges, pared and segmented
  • 1/2 c. prepared French dressing

Instructions

  1. Marinate walnuts, shrimp, celery, and oranges in French dressing for 30 minutes before serving.
  2. Chill the salad until ready to serve.
  3. Arrange on lettuce leaves for salad plates.
  4. Sprinkle with additional garlic salt, if desired.
  5. Garnish with watercress before serving.
