Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 lb. ground turkey
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp. basil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 can kidney beans

Instructions

  1. Mince the onion and garlic; cook in oil until browned, then add the turkey and brown.
  2. Combine all remaining ingredients, except the beans, with the turkey; cook over low heat for 3 hours.
  3. Add kidney beans 5 minutes before serving.
