Wasabi Snapper

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup mirin (rice wine)
  • 3 None green onions, sliced
  • 1 1/4 inches fresh ginger, finely grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp wasabi
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 None snapper fillets
  • 1 tbsp peanut oil
  • None None steamed rice, to serve
  • None None steamed baby pak choi, to serve

Instructions

  1. Combine teriyaki sauce, mirin, onions, ginger, garlic, wasabi and sesame oil. Add snapper, turning to coat. Cover and chill for 1 hour, turning once.
  2. Heat peanut oil in a large, nonstick frying pan over medium heat. Cook fish (reserving marinade) for 2-3 mins per side, until flesh flakes easily when tested with a fork. Remove from heat. Serve with rice and and baby pak choi. Drizzle with reserved marinade.
