Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter, softened
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • confectioners sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix softened butter, flour, chopped walnuts, and vanilla thoroughly.
  2. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes or until light brown.
  5. While still warm, roll the cookies in confectioners' sugar and shake off excess.
  6. Serve warm or cool.
